# Quizzizz & Forum accommodation

Last week, we played a game called "Quizzizz: Hospitality & Tourism". This game involves our knowledge of the field of tourism and hospitality. I got 17th place and got 17 correct answers & 13 wrong answers. This game is very fun because it can compete with classmates about our general knowledge. In this game, the given questions, there are times and points. Our points is based on how long we take time to answer the question.

After that, Miss Ean Na opened a video on Youtube about introduction to hospitality of industry. We saw the video for 2 minutes and 24 seconds & Miss Ean Na gave the assignment to comment on what we understand the video content. We make this assignment through a cidos

# Blog and Games

Last week, we told about our blog to our lecturer and classmates about what we wrote in the blog. In this way, it can help us to speak in front of many people by telling them what we are offering. Our lecturer also provide ideas on how to provide a better presentation and spontaneous way.

After that, we played "cram games" and "kahoot" games. this game is fun and can test our knowledge of tourism and hospitality.

# KAHOOT!

     Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in schools and other educational institutions. Its learning games, "Kahoots!" are multiple-choice quizzes that allow user generation and can be accessed via web browser.

     It can be used to review students' knowledge for assessment or as a break from classroom activities. Kahoot! can be played through web browser and mobile devices through its web interface.

     Basedon this game, we can be more understand about how important the knowledge of tourism and hospitality. We played this games two times in class; before the lessons and after the lessons.

# Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality

TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY exposes to the profile, complexity and interrelation of tourism and hospitality sectors, including the signifacance of tourism to the host and global community.

     Tourism is travel for recreational, leisure or business purposes. It is also activities of persons travelling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more thab one consecutive year. Tourism industry is service industry which includes transportation, accommodation and services.

     Hospitality, welcoming guests who is away from home by a host where are basic necessities provided such as food, beverages and lodging. Hospitality industry is a comprises business entity of food, beverages, lodging or a combination of these business to travellers during their stay in a destination.

Relationship between Tourism and Hospitality

    Tourism is an activity where multiple nationalities from all over the wolrd visit your country. The purpose of tourism it to attract visitors from other parts of the world to learn more about the custom and practices that have been playing an important role to sustain the socio-economic status of the host. The difference of tourism from hospitaly is the ability of the country to attarct visitors by offering places that are unique and livable by any visitors. Tourism is mostly focused on the natural resources of a certain country because they can offer their pristine beach, snow capped mountain and unique landscapes that make their country or place attractive to visitors. Tourists can experience the beautiful sceneries that the place has to offer because there are numerous attractions that they can visit. And before departing, tourists are able to take away souvenirs that they can display it in their albums to store memories from a memorable past from that place.

     When it comes to the hospitality, the difference is the warm treatment of the locals in the area that you are visiting. Hospitality is the ability of the local to provide a warm accommodation to any tourists who want to experience the chance of their lifetime by visiting the area that can generate memorable issues to their life. If you are welcomed by the locals, you are being offered to experince their culture and tradition that makes your tour very special. Locals who are open to foreign visitors are able to show their compassion to allow outsiders appreciate their culture and tradition. This is beneficial for tourists because they are going to feel like they are at home in a foreign place that is different from their household routine.

     There are 3 main components in order to establish an efficient and effective tourism industry to a certain country.
   1) The place where visitors can have the chance to experience the natural wonders of nature and the
        the place that they visiting.
   2) The hospitality because tourists need locals to experience custom and tradition of a country that
        wants foreigners experience tradition and customs on a regular basis.
   3) The ability if the locals to communicate with foreigners. Communication is important between
        the locals and the foreigners bacause there should be a medium to allow both individuals
        understand what they want to express with each other. Without effective communication, tourists
        are going to be challenged with the way they are going to express and understand issues with the
        locals of the area regarding the place, values and routine.

KAHOOT!!

 It was my second time playing kahoot and it was such a best experience ever.We got so excited because tried hard to be the first place. Kahoot is a game that we have to acces the code so it is important to have an internet connection which is super fast. It was super fun when we played with many other people and unlimited . Kahoot is similiar to quiz game that had 4 answers and times limit. Who get the most mark will be the winner. When i played this game in our class lesson it has included our subtopic of tourism and hospitality. It was so much fun because we played and also gain knowledge about what is tourism and hospitality and general knowledge.

After playing this game, we can more understand about tourism and hospitality. Our lesson became more interesting😄 so the lesson will not be very bored 💤 for student. We played this game two times in class because the students are more interested in this type of teach and learning method. We enjoyed our student time wtih lecturer and classmate. Tourism and Hospitality Industry

Tourism and Hoapitality is one of group industry of business which is has many different career paths that people can achieve their own goal in the future. It laso included travel/transportation vendors for air, rail, cruise and motor-coach travel amd promote travel and vacation. Tourism industry is one of the activities of people around the world travelling to gain knowledge, family bonding, food hunting and also learn about other culture in the world or destination that they go. It also can definite when tourist around the world staying in places outside their usual environment for leisure and business and other purposes. Hospitality is a services and facilities that needs to meet the people while away from home such as accommodation, food, beverages and entertainment. These business include hotels, motels, inns, and bed-and-breakfast (B&Bs), restaurant, hospitals and many other facilities. 365 days a year and 24 hours a day are open for hospitality business and require shift work.

Two of this industry are importants because they need to work together or help each other to provide not only accomodation but also to make our tourist who is travel away from home need a comfortable place, food and drink to make their vacation more satisfied and worth.
